Hettie Hippo goes on a walk with Oliver Elephant and Janine Giraffe and learns a lesson about how friends can help one another. Narrator: Male Story Begins: 4:30 Helpful Hike Excerpt: One sunny afternoon at Ahway Island Animal Sanctuary, Hettie Hippo stood under a giant maple tree near her pond home. The tree’s branches were covered with leaves of all sorts of dazzling hues – bright red, sunny yellow, and warm orange. Hettie loved this time of year because it turned the world into a canvas of pretty colors. As Hettie admired the magnificent tree and its vibrant leaves, a familiar voice called out her name. “Hettie, we’re here!” It was Janine Giraffe, who trotted over with Oliver Elephant trailing behind her. “Sorry we’re a bit late,” Oliver said apologetically, “we got distracted by some beautiful butterflies.” Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you imagine a baby elephant and its mama.
