We head into another weekend with a Thursday night championshp double header in Vegas to go over, fight to preview from England to L.A., fight news, nostalgia and more on the "Big Fight Weekend Preview Podcast."Host T.J. Rives returns with insider Dan Rafael of BigFightWeekend.com to go over it all starting with the horrific, dull, main event for Top Rank Boxing/ESPN as Shakur Stevenson got his hand raised in a 12 round decision for the WBC lightweight crown, but it was a putrid showing. His opponent Edwin De Los Santos did nothing throughout the bout and the fight was being booed in the arena from the middle rounds on. The boys go off with their takes on just how bad it was and how does Shakur's credibility recover? The co-feature was the opposite as Emanuel Navarrete outslugged Robson Conceicao in a wild 12 round battle. Navarrete scored two knockdowns, landed the bigger shots throughout, but Conceicao was busier and lasted the distance. In the end- it was a draw? Dan and T.J. give analysis and will we see it, again soon for Navarrete's 130 lb. title? Then, there is fight news, on the official Tyson Fury-Oleksandr Usyk undisputed heavyweight title announcement and presser for February 17th. This came on the heels of the official announcement for December 23rd's stacked PPV invloving Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in separate fights, etc. Finally, the boys have great nostalgia on the near 40th anniversary of many of the 1984 U.S. Olympic fighters making their debuts at Madison Square Garden at NYC in 1984. Also, nostalgia on Roy Jones Jr.'s dominant performance over James Toney nearly 30 years ago and the Klitchsko brothers debut, as well. It's all on the "Big Fight Weekend Preview Podcast" and make sure to follow/subscribe on Appple, Google, Spreaker, Spotify, etc.!
