CS 1364: The 3rd Commandment: Monday

Catholic Sprouts: Daily Podcast for Catholic Kids - Un pódcast de Nancy Bandzuch

It's week three of our series on the 10 Commandments. This week we will be discussing the 3rd Commandment, REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. Monday: Our Sabbath observance asks us to recall how God rested on the 7th day of creation, and the covenant He made with the Israelites after He rescued them from slavery. Tuesday: In the Gospels, Jesus was often accused of breaking the Sabbath by curing on that day. Why did He do that and what does it mean? Wednesday: As Christians, we now celebrate the Sabbath on Sundays, the day of the Resurrection. Thursday: Attending Holy Mass on Sundays is the most important part of our Sabbath rest. Each Sunday is a Holy Day of obligation. Friday: What does it mean to rest and how do we keep the other hours of a Sunday holy and restful? All Adoration materials are on sale right now!
