Tom Lee - my fav market analyst - says he remains bullish on the market. He thinks FAANG will be strong in the 2nd half of the year with all of their pricing power. He thinks April and May will be like 2020 and 2009 where people positioned themselves for the future moves. He flagged the Cash Freight Index having rolled over which leads to CPI coming down but only if oil plateaus. Tom also mentioned as long as $AAPL stays strong, you can't be a bear of the S&P because of Apple's huge weighting in the index. $BRK.B has outperformed the S&P by 30% this year. Joe T on CNBC and others have mentioned $BX as a great opportunity here. They all have touted Blackstone's exposure to good real estate. KB Homes reported last night and said the labor cost and supply chain issues are weighing heavily on them being able to complete homes. The entire home builders index has tanked this year and Josh Brown believed this to be an indication the economy is getting dragged down. I don't have particular stocks that I think are opportunities today, but Alaska Air CEO said they believe oil peaks and remains at $120/barrel. Today it's at $113 so if you're in $UCO - be careful to take profits.
