THE DOOMED & STONED SHOW ~Season 5, Episode 27~ Presenting yet another entry in our Doomed Cinema series, this a tribute to the 1985 film FUTURE-KILL by Austin director Ronald W. Moore. The lead character, Splatter, is played by Edwin Neal of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame. He belongs to a rogue collective of environmental activists who have transformed themselves into "mutants" and taken over downtown to protest the nuclear arms race and the prospect of an apocalyptic total war. Splatter, however, goes off the rails, his mind twisted by radiological experimentation. HIs murderous rampage starts with the leader of the Mutants, then turns to a hapless band of frat boys who disguised themselves as freaks and trolled downtown hoping for a good prank and a bitchin' after-party.
