Festival season is in full swing here in the states. There are some big fests coming up (such as Psycho Las Vegas, which Doomed & Stoned is participating in this year), yet some of the most interesting to me are the regional festivals - like Tulsa, Oklahoma's FreakTulsa 2016. The three-dayer features a nice range of stoner rock, doom metal, as well as some death, thrash, and punk. Highlighted in this broadcast are some of the local, regional, and national legends (and rising stars) of underground heavy psych, stoner-blues, and doom, including: Book of Wyrms Burn Thee Insects Cobra Jab Destroyer of Light Great Electric Quest Lords of Beacon House Merlin Oberon Red Wizard Youngblood Supercult and more.... The show (which originally broadcast live on Grip of Delusion Radio on Sunday, June 12th, 2016) opens with a new track by War Cloud from Oakland (one of our featured interviews on DoomedandStoned.com this week), Cooze Hound (a track off of our new digital record 'That 70's Compilation' at doomedandstoned.bandcamp.com), and Frank Sabbath (whose new Argonauta Records album we debuted last Wednesday).
