We breakdown what this means and why the laws needs to be stopped.In Indonesia, May Day protests were met by swift repression by the police. With 69 people arrested in Yogyakarta and 4 in Bogor. This is happening in the context of increasing State repression across the country. The May Day protest were, in part, connected to a long campaign against an airport, mining and other industrial development on farmland near Yogyakarta.
