Renae Ellis was . . . Born in NYC and raised traveling the globe as my father was in the US Army. My travels gave me the ability to develop perspective, as well as my love for writing. As life has many twists and turns. It took sometime to develop a signature sound and stylization, and create R&B music that is reminiscent of a vast array of musical influences, including: Faith Evans, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Musiq SoulChild, and Stevie Wonder. Today I am living my best life in Los Angeles, CA and making my way in the Los Angeles music scene; as a singer and songwriter with a sound that’s a multifaceted take on R&B with originality and familiarity~ in an effort to bring music to the table that is authentic and innovative with a touch of Soul. This Spring I took my songwriting ability into the studio, and released the debut single “Love To Love” on May 20th of this year; followed by the single “What More”.
