She is one of seven children born to parents married over fifty years. In her twenties she moved to Virginia to provide a better life for her children. There she met and married the love of her life, Ryan, a Sailor in the US Navy. She has always had a love for writing and in 2017 published her first book. Since then, many have followed. With over fifteen books available on Amazon and many more yet to be published. She writes across many genres. This includes, Black Historical Fiction, Urban, Contemporary, Women's Literature, Self-help, Mystery and Suspense and YA. She has started her own publishing company called DreamWakeWork Publishing.
