Director Brian De Palma made his mark in the ‘70s alongside contemporaries like Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Spielberg. But 40 years into his career, his legacy is less secure than his peers. A new doc - called, simply, DE PALMA - asks us to reconsider the director and his work. Adam and Josh do just that this week with a Blindspotting review of De Palma’s 1984 erotic thriller BODY DOUBLE. They also return to their Contemporary Nordic Cinema Marathon with Roy Andersson's YOU, THE LIVING.
