Episode 684 - Cody and Amanda Brundage are First Class Parents and Professional Fighters.  They are raising their daughter, Kingsley, and are expecting their second child.  Kingsley was born with an extremely rare developmental disability caused by a gene mutation of ALG13.  Less than 40 cases of the mutation have ever been observed, and it causes intractable epilepsy and seizures.   Amanda “Bobby” Brundage is professional mixed martial artist who competed in the Strawweight division of the Invicta Fighting Championships and Ultimate Fighting Championship.  She made her professional MMA debut with the King of the Cage and went on to compete in The Ultimate Fighter in 2016 before entering the UFC.  Cody Brundage turned pro in 2019 capturing the Lights Out Championship Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Championships. He made his UFC debut in 2021, at UFC 266. In this Episode, Cody and Bobby share their parenting journey which includes a daughter and a second child on the way!  They discuss how becoming parents has changed their perspective on life and as professional fighters.  They describe their daughter’s rare condition and how they have risen to the occasion to give her everything she needs.  They talk about their plans for the future and Cody calls out his next opponent he hopes to fight in the UFC.
