Hotstepping from the genesis of jungle at the turn of the 1990s to the genre in its current form, DJ Simm is back with a clattering ode to 21st century jungle; drawing from the catalogues of two of the labels at the heart of the scene's shifting sound, Rupture and AKO Beatz. Like a vaccine supercharged with steroids, Simm's latest is a brutally brilliant session of hoovers and rave stabs, thundering bass and drums that have been programmed like weapons of mass destruction.
