Welcome to September 2021 as we feature a new family and a new kiddo. This month we are introducing you to Cecily…or Cece as her family affectionally calls her. Cece is a joyful and social 4 yr old who has been diagnosed with Pitt Hopkins syndrome. Today we are talking with Louie and Lizzy who are Cece’s parents. There is a lot covered in this first episode, including getting to know the family through two great personalities in Louis and Lizzy. They talk about the journey of discovering the diagnosis and the various kinds of interactions with medical professionals. Some diagnosis are discovered before birth, Pitt-Hopkins is not one of those. Neither are easy, but this what Lizzy and Louie will walk us through.
