This week the boys of HMP take a trail not yet traveled by this podcast. The boys are all in studio again, hot off of Heroes Con in Charlotte, and this go around they’re talking about a comic book movie that might not be the first thing to come to mind when discussing the topic. American Spender was a comic series written by Harvey Pekar and a movie of the same name was released in 2003 to much acclaim. There’s no capes and tights but does this hold up as one of the greatest comic book movies ever made?
