As Yeshua teaches his disciples from the mount and plane, he describes the benchmark of character, the attributes to be desired and refined unto being a mature child of God. This benchmark exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, who by comparison hermeneutically eisegete, by presupposing of their own bias into the interpretation of scripture. Through their rejection of Yeshua, the word made flesh, they were ill-equipped to address and cleanse the evil of their own hearts, which ultimately lead to the execution of an innocent man and their own condemnation. As a result, both what the scribes and Pharisees overlooked and transmitted, were hypocritically violated.
