Ep69: Gina, Benji & Charlotte - Fertility Struggles, IVF, Geriatric Pregnancies, Miscarriage, Birth in the UK and Birth in NZ

Kiwi Birth Tales - Un pódcast de Jordyn Kayes

In episode 69 of Kiwi Birth Tales I speak with Gina about her pregnancy and birth experiences with her two children Benji and Charlotte. Gina and her partner have had a long road to pregnancy with many rounds of IVF and different approaches to normalising cycles before falling pregnant at age 36. Gina talks us through that experience as well as living in London and being pregnant, giving birth in hospital there and what their aftercare experience was like. Gina then talks us through moving home to NZ, making the decision to try and have another baby, suffering an early miscarriage and then falling pregnant again through IVF with Charlotte. Ginas Mum was her midwife for this birth and it's so lovely to hear her share about that. I am so grateful to Gina for being willing to share her experiences with us! A massive thank you to Elevit for sponsoring this episode of the podcast! I would love for you to show them support over at www.elevit.co.nzThanks for listening!@Kiwibirthtales@Yourbirthproject Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
