You've made the decision for your child to learn piano, but now helping them practice is the next step. As you know, family life isn't quiet. It's almost near impossible to find a quiet time for your child to practice. But, there are ways you can help your child and get your family on board as well when it comes to practice time in your home. Here are the suggestions I give in this episode today: Try to find a quiet part of the house if possible Develop a weekly practice schedule and try to stick to it Have discussions with the other members of your family about expectations when it's time to practice Have your child wear headphones if they're practicing on a digital piano or keyboard Give yourself grace if a day of practice is missed because of "life" You can read the blog post that goes along with this episode here. If your child is ready to jump right in with online piano lessons, I'd love to be their teacher on my "Learn Piano At Home" course. You can enroll your child here.
