As Black Men we exist in a unique space of both oppression AND privilege. However when we talk about Black Male Privilege we are not saying we possess the same privilege that white people do. BMP is based on the privilege that we have in relation to Black Women. BMP also does not deny the oppression & racism that we experience, but causes us to acknowledge Black Women's experiences which differ from ours.
