Every November, a handful of luminaries whose musical careers have spanned more than 25 years are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Given the career length requirements, its no surprise that artists from the 1970s often feature, and this year is no exception, with Kate Bush, Chaka Khan, Willie Nelson and Bernie Taupin all inducted. The process for nominations and inductions are not without controversy, but while we might wonder why some artists get overlooked (you don’t have to look hard to notice an outrageous lack of women, for example) it’s hard to argue with the worthiness of those that do make the list. In honour of this annual event, all artists featured on todays show are hall of fame inductees
