Panthers came even waves and it did not stop even when they gave up an early goal to Brady Tkachuk on the power play. Matthew Tkachuk answered with one of his own in the second period, and the Panthers poured it on from there, with 20 shots in the period. It allowed the Panthers to get a smooth third period that had very few whistles. Panthers capped it off with an empty netter while short handed (now 12 SHG's on the season), and they go into the break at 34-20-3 and three points ahead of the Leafs for the Atlantic Division.
