The Yankees offense is bad and needs to get better

The Yankees dropped the finale in Detroit on Thursday, and it was a typical third game of a series when looking for a sweep. In other words, it was a loss. Once again, the offense was offensively inept, and Jordan Montgomery was the starter victimized by the offense's woes. Montgomery is quietly becoming one of the Yankees' best starters, and he has nothing to show for it in the W-L column. Aaron Boone called for the intentional walk when Miguel Cabrera was looking for hit #3000, and you could hear the boos from Detroit in New York.
