Sahara Rose on Speaking Your Truth and Modern Ayurveda

MANIFEST THIS with Ashley Wood

episode 38

Today I'm talking to Sahara Rose. Sahara is inspiring, she’s SO wise, she’s on fire!

She is the best-selling author of the Idiot's Guide to Ayurveda and has been called “a leading voice for the millennial generation into the new paradigm shift” by Deepak Chopra.

She is a Certified Ayurvedic, Holistic and Sports Nutritionist, wellness blogger and host of the Highest Self Podcast – which just hit 1 million downloads in just 10 months of existence and is listed as top 7 podcasts by Yoga Journal. Sahara's mission is to awaken people to their innate potential so they can share their gifts and fulfill their purpose on this planet.

Her next book, Eat Feel Fresh: A Plant-based Contemporary Ayurvedic Cookbook will be available in bookstores nationwide October 9. And we talk about her book a bit in our discussion and HOW it’s different from every other Ayurveda book out there.

We also talk about world travel, we talk about the problems within the spiritual community, we talk about past lives, we talk about manifestation.

I seriously love this conversation so much. She’s truly speaking her truth and I am so excited to share it with you.

IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS...

  • what is Ayurveda
  • Sahara's approach to 'modern Ayurveda' and why she was afraid of questioning the ancient traditions
  • how Sahara's world travels have inspired the work she does now and who she is as a person
  • women's rights in India
  • problems within the spiritual community
  • how Sahara manifests
  • the Law of Attraction
  • past lives and the concept of time
