How to take photos that no one else has before

* New techniques (flash in outdoor landscapes)
* Go to an “undiscovered” area

* Don’t look at other people’s work before you shoot
* Apply recipes from other successful photos to different situations
* Try new perspective on an “old” location
* Don’t stop shooting after the sun goes down. Try night photography (if allowed); maybe some light painting.
* Avoid the “tripod holes”
