#14 ~ MMM ~ Insight into Money Making Lauren Mahoney - A Kids Collective

For me, something like this is way way out of my comfort zone! Talking about myself and my achievements is something that doesn’t really come too easily to me. But if we don’t do something that scares us, we don’t grow - that’s right isn’t it? I’m Lauren, I’m 31, I have 2 beautiful babies  Freddie who’s 6 and Betsy who is 2! My partner works away for long periods of time so most of the time it’s just me and the kids! I’m lucky enough to be able to work part-time in my law job alongside my real passion for my kid's clothing business - A Kids  Collective. Life is super busy and, like most mums, I am constantly on the go with something to fill every second of the day.  Sometimes it can seem a lot and sometimes I’m sure we all feel overwhelmed and like we don’t know how we are going to get it all done - but we do! My philosophy is to always try to focus on the positives and be grateful for the people you have around you. Not only are my babies the reason I work so hard, but they are also my inspiration behind and the reason I started my clothing brand. When they are older, and understand more I hope they look back and see that it is always possible to follow your dreams no matter what they may be and to overcome anything that may stand in your way or anyone tells you you ‘can’t’.
