Hut Records, a subsidiary of Virgin, was responsible for bands like Smashing Pumpkins, The Verve, Placebo, Embrace, and of course The Music just to name a few. Before long, the internet, for better or worse, radically changed the music game. This week on Music and more, Adam and Pete welcome former Hut Records label manager David Boyd to discuss the early days at Hut, his involvement with various bands and the part he played in The Music’s epic debut album.
