"Belfast" had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and has gone on since then to establish itself as the frontrunner in this year's Oscar race. Kenneth Branagh's ode to his childhood memories, home and family is realized through Úna Ní Dhonghaíle's editing which was able to pack in a ton of emotion, comedy and drama into its concise 97 minute runtime.
