"Fingernails" had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its quirky blend of low-key sci-fi, romance, and commentary on relationships. The performances from Jessie Buckley, Riz Ahmed, and Jeremy Allen White also drew attention on top of Christos Nikou's screenplay.
