Often when I talk to parents, they are overwhelmed and stressed. They are reaching out to me because all of the recommendations and everything they've tried with their child hasn't worked, and they don't know what to do next. They might be avoiding family outings or vacations because they're worried about how their child will behave. Or maybe they've just received a diagnosis for their child and they are grappling with what that means for their family. They're reaching out because parenting feels hard and non-stop, and their relationships with their child, their partner, and themselves are struggling. They are looking for a light at the end of the tunnel.And sure, this is where we start. I want to be sure my clients start to get their heads above water - and quickly.
