Turtle = Tortuga -Interactive and fun Spanish lessons and Spanish games for kids. This “Find the Turtle” in Spanish game teaches kids to focus, to learn the position of the animals, and to win the game by finding, identifying and pointing to the correct animals. In this case, our friend the colorful turtle. Animals in the video come from an array of places and the artwork is unique in many of them. Some are just plush animals; some are artwork from indigenous peoples of the south of Mexico. The Spanish lessons perfect for kids from one to five years of age. Parents can follow along and learn the words as well. The vocabulary of the videos is simple enough for kids to follow, even if they speak zero Spanish, or any other language! This short one-minute video is ideal for kids to repeat, even memorize the entire video with a few repetitions. This could help with confidence in using more words and saying the words out loud. Early development by using the tongue, lips, teeth, air, and other phonetic sounds can improve diction in both Spanish and in native languages. Subscribe to the channel to get different and fun lessons in Spanish including numbers, animals, food, painting lessons, instruments, arts and crafts, and much more. At times we’ll also have educational videos in English for topics that you or other parents or guardians recommend. If you’re wondering, the accent in this video is a standard accent used in the majority of Latin America in radio and television, similar to the standard used in USA news channel anchors. The diction is clearly exaggerated so that kids and adults new to Spanish can clearly understand the sounds and be able to separate syllables. Kids will eventually find our voices familiar and friendly. The idea is that they feel confident with Piwi and with me and understand what we are doing in the videos. Once they do, kids can look forward to more Spanish lessons and see them as play time, not work time. We would love to hear from you. Leave us your ideas and comments. If your kids are progressing and having fun, we would love it if you share a video with us. You can post the link, send it to us, send us the link to your post or email us the video.
