If you’re a certified teacher and you want to be your own boss and make more money than you can in the district, you should start a preschool! Bethany Johnson really wanted to be a stay at home mom, but she really wanted to have more of an identity than only being a mom and she also really wanted to have her own income. But the one thing she knew for sure was she was dissatisfied with her job teaching 1st and 2nd grades for the local school district. She wanted the freedom to be able to teach the way she wanted to teach. So, she decided to quit her job and start a preschool.
