Okay mama, You find yourself doing so much for your teen daughter only for her to say “I don’t need your help.” You’re probably like me who decided to leave your career to stay home or work part time so that you can be home to care for your kids, and feel under appreciated by them when they won’t even listen to you. She probably even says things like “Leave me alone.” “You’re smothering me.” or “Why are you always in my business?” In this episode, I’m addressing this feeling of not being appreciated or valued by your teen girl, and the reason why it is okay to be okay with it. Are you looking for a supportive mom community? The common thing I ask the moms I work with to be most valuable is having a community with other moms who get it. Who are in the weeds too. Moms who are also in the season of raising tween & teen girls. We need each other to vent, laugh, encourage and support on another. If that’s you too, I have a free mom community I invite you to be a part of.
