#55 – Stockholm Design Week part 2

The second report from the ongoing Stockholm Design Week takes you to We Live Here – an exhibition of the work of 70 designers from Iceland and Finland held in an apartment in central Stockholm. This unusual setting combined with food and drink from Iceland and Finland has made We Live Here one of the most talked about events of the design week. We met up with curators Marika Tesolin, Elina Aalto and Hlin Helga Guðlaugsdóttir to find out what all the fuss is about. Another newcomer to the week is Smaller Objects a Swedish brand founded by Claesson Koivisto Rune. To Summit, Eero Koivisto explains why this well known architect and design trio have decided to take the leap to also become a producer, after twenty years in the business. Yenwen Tseng is the design director of the Taiwanese brand Nak Nak who chose Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair as the place to make its debut. In our interview he explains what the name means, talks about Nak Nak’s connections to Sweden and why they decided to launch in Stockholm.
