Setting realistic intentions at the beginning of each day gives you control over your day. You’re able to tell the world what you expect from it, rather than the other way around. Picking up our phones first thing in the morning often feeling like a failure because your life doesn’t look like another’s or feeling stressed because of all the things that are scheduled in our calendar. By giving ourselves permission to take some time before the day starts, you’re able to tell the world what you expect from it rather than the other way around.
