In an area that is riddled with violence and lack of hope, one woman refuses to give up on her community. Lack of police will, and lack of government assistance doesn’t not shudder her hope and dreams for a better community and so she chooses to rise above what surrounds her and decides to give back to her community by creating an organisation that educates, offer alternatives and support to her neighbours. Tha organisation is called umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu and Nicole Trom and Steve Bok opened a community-based organisation tackle the social ills of the community and focus on learning, education, training and development.
