On Fear (and feeling it)

We don't know how to feel fear in a way that allows us to move through what's keeping us locked in immobility and resistance. We either come to fear it, or we avoid feeling it, or we are overwhelmed by our fear and the stories that wed us to that experience. What happens when we can just bear compassionate witness to the fear? Like removing a boulder from a stream, we are released into the flow of life. We can learn to be with fear in a contained and balanced way, and have access to more freedom and joy.
