Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks… Let’s get started!    Kimberly: Hi Dr Cabral. I am a devoted listener and your protocols and FM detoxes have improved my quality of life so much. My question is, I took the J & J vaccine. My reactions were normal ( fever, chills, nausea, headache, etc). I did experience severe headaches a few weeks after receiving the jab, so my PCP referred me to ER to get CT, contrast MRI to rule out blood clots. I was fortunate not have the rare blood clot, but the MRI showed that I have an Olfactory Groove Meningioma. I never had headaches before, and I had an MRI a few years earlier to rule out pituitary tumor as a cause of my low thyroid. I have 2 questions: 1. Is it possible my immune response to the vaccine triggered the tumor to push against my nerves causing these severe headaches? 2. Would something like florafilm help keep this tumor from growing. I know I have to defer to my neurologist and her team but curious of any natural treatments for this type of brain tumor. Carmen: Hello Dr.Cabral, After a visit to the ER due to severe dehydration from a stomach flu, I was sent home with the CT results of my pancreas classified as normal. After getting home and reading the findings of the CT, the statement "extensive fatty replacement of the pancreatic parenchyma", left me a little worried. It does not sound " normal". I am 42 years old, 5'6, 130 lb, I eat fairly healthy, don't smoke or drink, but do have high cholesterol (350 total). Any thoughts? Thank you for all you do, it truly makes a difference in my everyday life Joy: Hello Dr Cabral, my question is related to the heavy metal detox supplements. It was recommended by my HC that I do the heavy metal detox based on results of the minerals and metals test. I noticed the Florafilm (in the protocol) has an ingredient from egg whites (lysozyme). When I did your food sensitivity test it showed a sensitivity to eggs. Should I avoid the Florafilm supplement because of my egg sensitivity? On a side note, if I click on just the Florafilm supplement in equi.life, that’s not included with the protocol, it lists different ingredients including no lysozyme. That confused me. Are there 2 Florafilm supplements? Thank you! Maria: Thank you for your time! My question is, i have eliminated eggs for over 6 months due to having a severe iGg reaction on my food sensitivity test. However, I had not continued with the CBO protocol due to being underweight and my health coach believed it is more important to get my body to a healthy stage as long as my digestion is okay. As I had not done the CBO protocol, I was wondering if I am able to introduce eggs to my diet as my immune system has had a long time without being exposed to the egg protein, or would it still be best to avoid eggs? This also includes a few other foods like chia seeds and cows dairy. Nicolette: Hi Dr. Stephen, first off, THANK YOU. I have gone through all your Thyroid podcasts, and feel I have a pretty strong understanding on how to heal my Hashimotos. I still work with an endocrinologist as I have been on Synthroid for 15 years. (I am 27). I started on it at a very young age. I am on an extremely high dose and have been really working to heal myself with multiple of your test, and protocols (metals and CBO). I stick to a very clean diet, workout regularly, and have really reduced my stress levels. I told my endocrinologist that since my numbers (T4, T3, TPO, reverse t3) are looking good, I would really like to start to decrease my dosage of synthroid to begin to get off of it. He said since I am still not feeling me best (weight gain, alway puffy, wake up groggy, cold hands/feet) that my body needed a change so he lowered my synthroid, but added Liothyronine. He said if I do well on this and continue to, we can work to move off them? 2 questions, being on these two medication I’m not suppose to have calcium and iron until 4 hours after. That really effects my morning smoothie with your supplements since some of them contain those. What are your thoughts on those two medications being used together and when should I consume my morning smoothie? THANK YOU! Maria: Hi Dr Cabral, forever appreciative for your knowledge! I have a quick question, I understand that heating oils is not a good idea due to oxidation, however I just read in the book I’m currently reading, that each time an oil is reheated, it breaks down and it’s chemical structure becomes more destabilised. I am unsure if that just includes oils used for deep frying, or also oils such as avocado oil when reheating leftovers? Thank you!
