The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) has announced that it has more than 2,000 members. The Digital Library of Georgia and the Cuba Archives of the Breman Museum have announced the expansion of the Southern Israelite Archive at http://dlg.galileo.usg.edu/MediaTypes/Newspapers.html.  GenSoftReviews announces that it now has reviews of more than 500 genealogical software programs at its site. The Florida Genealogical Society (Tampa) will hold its annual Fall Seminar on Saturday, September 18, 2010, and the speaker will be Curt B. Witcher, the manager of the Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
