Greet the day with peace and connection to the wilderness
The Happy Listening Project - Un pódcast de Sound Seeds Project
Rise and shine, Happy Listeners! Thank you for joining us on one of our favourite rituals to connect with the wilderness: the dawn chorus. Birds singing during the dawn chorus is one of the most enriching sounds in nature. This symphony is so diverse that it's hard to describe or replicate. This natural phenomenon happens every day around sunrise worldwide, so you can participate in it wherever you are! To enjoy its total unravelling, you will need to arrive early; depending on your location, it could start as early as 4 a.m. Choose an area with vegetation and trees; this could even be your own backyard or building garden. Sit quietly, have repellent with you and water, coffee or tea. Be open, close your eyes, listen! In this first season of The Happy Listening Project, Millie Wissar (@sound_seeds) takes you to her family’s house in the mountains of Chanchamayo, a small district in the central jungle of Peru. Nestled between mountains, this 200-year-old house is a peaceful oasis surrounded by trees and open spaces, making it an ideal location to enjoy Mother Nature's glorious sounds. This is a no-loop audio file recorded by Millie Wissar.
