In this episode of the podcast we stick to the New York metro area, conveniently adopting the Rangers and Devils. While the Devils have exceeded expectations early on by both being more competitive and entertaining than we figured, the Rangers continue to win games at an astonishing rate despite what the underlying numbers seem to suggest. We take a closer look at what's going on with each team thus far, and how likely it is to continue in our deep dive. We also gauge the value Travis Hamonic carries on the trade market, and what the Islanders should realistically be looking for in return should they eventually move him.
