Let’s talk about the things no one talks about (ep 77)

The Juggle - Un pódcast de Jo Alilovic and Lucy Dickens

Today we’re talking about the things no one talks about – the little challenges you face along the way and find yourself saying “why does no one warn you about this!?” – we’re bucking the trend and speaking the unspoken.   Because no one talks about these unspoken things, you feel like you’re the only one who feels that way.  But the truth is, you’re never the only one who feels that way. There are lots of other women out there also wondering why no one talks about the very same things.   So we’re calling out the things we’ve experienced that no one warned us about. Better still, we’re sharing the things that you told us that you wish you’d known.   From admitting your pregnancy was unplanned to facing challenges with breastfeeding; not enjoying playing with your kids to battling the emotional juggle and from finding work “easier” than being at home to feeling like your relationship with your partner feels more like that of roommates.   The lesson in all of this – there are two sides to every coin. For every feeling you’ve felt, someone has felt the same and someone else has felt the opposite. It’s all “normal”, whatever that means. Don’t be ashamed of how you feel. Embrace it and find people to support you through it.   Links mentioned in this episode:   * The Juggle Community, our online Facebook group * Subscribe to The Juggle Podcast on Apple Podcast, Stitcher or Android  * Find us on Instagram and Facebook * The Juggle website, where you can find all episodes of The Juggle and sign up to be notified when a new episode is released  Happy juggling!
