Ask The Dust IX: The Transport

In this episode we will look at what dust can bring (with it); what is being transported through different kinds of dust. From scraping and collecting dust, almost terraforming it - to another kind of dust that transports you to a different kind of place and perspective on many things. The transport is also an action, and even the best LNT campers leave something behind, their sole movements bring new material to the sites where only few come around. We will also revisit some lo-fi classics and enjoy a more tactile version of dust from tapes, vinyls and other kinds of “bad” behavior. Ask The Dust is a series that in different ways approaches themes like nostalgia, artistic intensions, nature, politics, domestic and spiritual matters mostly in form of music and other recorded material. Ask the Dust presents a platform of contemplation and reflection, that is open-ended and yet steadily focused on the Abject as a main point of departure.
