He started DJing in 1990 at seminal beatnik hangout Tongue Kung Fu, before founding the legendary club Smashing, epicentre of Britpop. He has compiled 30 albums, including easy listening trailblazer The Sound Gallery and as Duovision, curated over 30 exhibitions in London, Liverpool and Paris. Martin's latest album Super Sonics - 40 Junkshop Britpop Greats is out now on Cherryred and his soon to be released 30th compilation album Choctaw Ridge is out on Ace in Feb 2021.
