Children under 10 now account for 22% of online porn consumption for those under 18  47% of all US families claim that pornography is an existing problem with someone in their home  The adolescent brain is more susceptible to addictions and addictions at this age are more likely to lead to longer term addictions 1 Peter 2:11 “…abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.”  1 Corinthians 6:18  “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” Guilt and shame are not the same: Guilt says “I’ve done something bad.” Shame says “I am bad.” The first step to healing is confessing to a trusted friend, a mentor or a pastor what’s going on. If you don’t have one of those men, ask God to reveal one to you.
