WRs are all over the place in the NFL with multiple guys being cut or requesting a trade today. What should the Steelers be willing to do to acquire DK Metcalf? What about other names like Christian Kirk? The Steelers seem to have their options. Maxx Crosby has signed a big deal in Vegas. Does that mean a new deal is coming for TJ Watt? What should be the price the Steelers pay this time around? Could it be around $36M/year? The guys looked at some of the highest-paid players in the league. Would the price for DK Metcalf in a trade be as much as we are thinking? Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK is betting on ‘no’ for Rickard Rakell to get traded. He doesn’t think you can strip the team down and said you have to keep some guys happy. Tyler described the feeling of going to the rink on a bad team around trade deadline time. TK told stories about the 2009 deadline when the Penguins acquired Chris Kunitz and Bill Guerin to the eventual Stanley Cup championship team. He said that team was such a great mix of everything a team needs. TK said the presence of leadership from the ’09 deadline put that team over the top. Who else could be traded from the Penguins by the deadline on Friday? TK thinks Erik Karlsson on the move is 50/50.
