Joey Bart tells great Barry Bonds stories

Pirates catcher Joey Bart joined the show. Joey mentioned his family members that have Pittsburgh ties. Joey talked about the activities he gets into during the offseason. He described the strategy of competition bass fishing and the events he has taken part in. Joey said Kevin VanDam is the best bass fisherman of all-time. Joey said there’s nothing like being in a lake with 100 other boats. Joey talked about his journey to baseball when he expected to be a football player in high school. Joey told a story about catching for Matt Capps when he was 15. Who is the one pitcher from all-time that Joey wishes he could catch? Joey told the guys about meeting and working with Barry Bonds while he was part of the Giants organization. He said Bonds was on a level of hitter that he doesn’t think we will ever see again. He thinks Bonds, even at 50+ years old, would be a threat at the plate in today’s game.
