There has been a lot of discourse about the Steelers signing players, but what about cutting them? There are a few pretty logical cut candidates that would recoup them a few bucks. What are the latest projections on Steelers QB contracts? It sounds like Justin Fields will still be significantly cheaper than Russell Wilson. How does Wilson have a market? Chris doesn’t envision a scenario where the Steelers are seriously talking to Russ unless he’s the worst-case option. If the Fields number looks so affordable, why haven’t the Steelers jumped on this?
