Tyler Kennedy on the trade deadline

Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK is betting on ‘no’ for Rickard Rakell to get traded. He doesn’t think you can strip the team down and said you have to keep some guys happy. Tyler described the feeling of going to the rink on a bad team around trade deadline time. TK told stories about the 2009 deadline when the Penguins acquired Chris Kunitz and Bill Guerin to the eventual Stanley Cup championship team. He said that team was such a great mix of everything a team needs. TK said the presence of leadership from the ’09 deadline put that team over the top.
