Bonus Ep: Ukrainian Refugee & Aid Worker Stories - Ala

The Sod's Law Podcast - Un pódcast de GoldBean Studios

This is a bonus minisode of the Sod’s Law podcast, recorded in Kraków, Poland, where I traveled to record Ukrainian refugee and aid-worker stories exactly one month after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is Ala, a Scout volunteer from Kraków, who along with many others has spent most of the last four weeks volunteering at Kraków train station to greet Ukrainian refugees with food, water, blankets, essential items and advice. Ala was kind enough to give me a tour of Kraków train station, telling me how things have changed since the start of the war, how people from all areas of Polish society are assisting Ukrainian refugees and the stark risk of refugee women and children being snatched by human traffickers - definitely NOT a conversation being published by the likes of BBC News. -- If you'd like to support Sod's Law you can become a Sod's Law patron at patreon.com/sodspod from as little as £1 /$1 a month - there are different tiers including ad-free episodes, giveaways and more!
