Hello and welcome to the Doorstep Mixtape Podcast, featuring your host, me, Tim Lee Between 2017 and 2020, I hosted a weekly radio show which presented the very best local musicians from the Northwest of England. Each week a special guest would discuss their process of making music and then play some live songs in the studio. Looking back on the wonderful time I had on the show, I couldn’t let these interviews gather dust. So in this podcast I delve into the archive to bring you some of my favourite interviews and live performances. And in this very special extended episode, we celebrate not one, but TWO Christmas Specials from 2017 AND 2018!  In the first half, I am joined by local choir The Wistaston Singers, for some beautiful renditions of your favourite Christmas carols. Then in the second half, there is an extra bonus treat to get you in the Christmas mood, as the Nantwich Concert Band deliver some truly magical brass band songs from the festive season.
