Samsung's Exynos 9810 chipset is fast. Really fast. Depending on where you live, it's the chip used in the Galaxy S9. Here's the thing — It's also highly inefficient compared to its counterpart, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845. Primate Labs founder and purveyor of Geekbench, John Poole, shares his expertise regarding why the Exynos is a step in the right direction, but still needs more optimization to balance performance vs. battery life.
